Insinkerator will not drain away – blockage suspected?
Blades are working and refuse is being ground up but with the water running it creates a nasty soup that will not drain away until attacked with a plunger! Help! Any hints would be appreciated.

This is just a wild guess, but I think that the drain line is higher than the output of the incinerator. This may be hard to change. Make sure that each step of drain pipe is lower than the previous one. Run water at full force when using the disposal.

The drain is clogged. An electric eel needs to be sent down line to clear problem.Rental stores only rent junk.Call around and get a pro to clear line.Usually costs about 100$
